Crewe Hall Concert – 25/09/2006

Some of the finest young musicians in South Cheshire gave a spectacular concert in the prestigious surroundings of the Long Gallery in Crewe Hall. The 14 musicians and vocalists aged between 14 and 24 enthralled the audience with a varied evening of music.

Instruments included the marimba, piano, clarinet, flute, cornet, violin, guitar and two horns, with three vocalists also performing. The musical styles varied from Beethoven and Bach to Moon River and jazz pieces from Duke Ellington.

After the event David Ketley said "We hope that the success of this evening will encourage more musical youngsters in this area to come forward and see how we can help them."
