Crewe Hall Concert – 31/08/2009

The tenth SCYM concert to be held at Crewe Hall took place on August 31st 2009, and once again it proved to be a great success with music for all tastes played and sung by the cream of Cheshire's talented young musicians.

Three young instrumentalists made their Crewe Hall debuts, they were Lois Wylie, (Flute), Michael Blayney, (Violin), and Lydia Clarke, (Piano).

Music ranged from Handel and Mozart to Gershwin and "Fats" Waller, and included songs from Musicals sung by Ella Healing and others played on the flute by Laura Moulton.

Rhianne Abberley was a surprise guest and played one of her own compositions on the Vibraphone, and despite having had his tonsils removed only a few days before, Tom Seals rounded off the evening in great style.
