Wrenbury Hall Concert – 19/11/2010

The annual fund-raising evening for South Cheshire Young Musicians was held recently at Wrenbury Hall, and helped to raise over £1000 for young musicians in the South Cheshire area.

As in previous years, the evening consisted of a reception, evening meal and concert given by local talented young musicians, and was jointly organised by Wrenbury Hall and Cheshire based composer and founder of SCYM David F Ketley.

Many guests had travelled considerable distances to support the event, and were treated to splendid performances by soloists from 14 to 24 years of age playing a wide variety of instruments, performing music from Jazz to Classics, including the first performance of a new work for Piano and Cello written for the occasion by David Ketley.
