SCYM at Orchard Studios

SCYM has launched its first CD, a compilation of some of the best performances heard over the last two years. Ten young musicians went to Orchard Recording Studios in Oakhanger to produce the disk which is now on sale in selected local music shops or by contacting the SCYM organisers.

The performers on this C.D. have all appeared in at least one SCYM concert with ages ranging from 13 to 23 years of age. Many of them will go on to have a career in music.

It was also the first time many of them had been in a professional recording studio and it will not be the last. The day provided both useful experience and a great day out for these stars of the future. Having experienced the thrill of recording professionally, many of them now want to do more of it. SCYM is delighted to give them this opportunity and hope to do so again in the near future.
